One glorious day earlier this spring, I was inspired to do a shoot

with my daughter in a cherry blossom orchard.

I wanted to capture the rows of trees before all the petals fell

in a rainstorm.

And since it was very close to Ellie's birthday,

it was kind of a birthday session too.

If pictures could keep her from growing up....
