When Katie moved here from the mid-west for a job, she had no idea that she was about to meet the man who would become her husband. Henry, who had a job at another company, one day felt like he was supposed to switch jobs. He ended up working with Katie. It didn't take him very long to ask her out and before they knew it they were pretty much head over heels.

I was privileged, along with my talented sister, Abbie, as second shooter, to tell their wedding day story. The wedding was held at The Stables at Bluemont Vineyards in Virginia. It was gorgeous.The weather was perfect, Katie looked amazing, the couple's friends and family were so loving and generous in their words of encouragement and support...and everyone had a blast dancing the night away. Katie and her mom did an incredible job planning all the details ...down to the pies and desserts that had been baked just that morning by Katie's mom and grandma!

One of my favorite moments was when Henry's, dad, Mr. Herrera, was giving his toast. He told how Henry was planning the honeymoon and Henry told his dad that it had to be extra special because this was the only honeymoon he was ever going to take. So incredibly sweet. There were lots of happy tears shed throughout the day.
