the Snyders | family photography

There is a good story that goes along with this shoot.  It was a perfect day -
not too chilly, beautiful light, adorable family. Everything went great.
I got home and started emptying out my camera bag, putting things away, and realized that one of my memory cards was missing.  I had that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach.  I realized it must have fallen out into the grass when I switched cards more than half way through the shoot.
By the time I figured this out, it was dark.
I knew I had to go back and I didn't want to wait until the morning and risk the frost and the dew ruining the card.  My in-laws graciously agreed to meet me at the site -
for extra protection and help.  Thank you guys!!
I was praying that the seemingly impossible would happen and we'd find the card.  But it could be anywhere and I was expecting it to take a while...IF.
Well, I'm so thankful to say that literally within five minutes of looking, I found it right where I had changed cards.  Thank you Lord!! I would have been so sad to lose these pictures!

I also want to say that Conner, who is the oldest, was SO sweet and had brought me some gifts.
He gave me a pink plastic ring (so cute) and a book that he had made,
wrapped in a coloring book picture.
It was the cutest thing!  The book is so precious so I'll be sneaking it back to his Mama so she can keep it for his scrapbox. Don't tell him!

Snyders, thanks for a wonderful session - it's always a treat!
